A Golden Opportunity for a Canadian Junior

CSG.h Cosigo Resources

The Taraira Gold Belt one of the largest unexplored gold districts in the world

Cosigo Resources (TSXV:CSG.H) is a junior exploration company with a potentially world-class gold discovery in the Taraira Gold Belt, a large system of gold-bearing ridges in southeastern Colombia and northwestern Brazil. The Taraira Gold Belt is a large belt of metasedimentary ridges with similarities to the Witwatersrand belt in South Africa, which has produced 40% of all gold mined to date.

TARAIRA GOLD BELT
Cosigo’s work has shown that the Taraira Gold Belt hosts extensive strata-bound gold mineralization with potential for high grades. The gold mineralization in the Taraira Gold Belt includes fine-grained detrital gold in multiple strata, coarse-grained gold in veins and silicified strata, and gold-bearing conglomerate.

In Colombia, Cosigo controls a large land package that includes many historic gold mining areas. In Brazil, through unique agreements, Cosigo has been granted exclusivity to a 166,000 ha area with more than 400 km2 of ridge geology. The Taraira Gold Belt is potentially one of the largest unexplored gold districts in the world.

The history of gold in the Taraira Gold Belt dates back to the 1980s when gold was first discovered in the ridges. This led to a gold rush with 10,000 miners on Machado and Garimpo ridges. The Colombian government started investigating the geology of the area, and 10,000 ha at Machado was reserved by the Colombian State as an area of national interest and was put out to bid. The Machado bid was won by Cosigo.

MACHADO – GOVERNMENT FINDINGS
Government findings at Machado revealed over 130 artisanal gold mining operations in the early 1990s, and evidence of gold mineralization was found along the entire 20 km length of the Machado bid area. The government reported that 3,600 t of rock mined from a small open pit at Cerro Rojo contained 83 g/t Au (Government data, unconfirmed by Cosigo). Additionally, the government drilled 12 non-targeted, stratigraphic drill holes, and six holes, over a 2.5 km strike-length, contained visible gold.

2023 PLAN
Cosigo will be starting its 2023 drill program within the next few months and we are excited to see them drill into some of their top targets as defined by a recent MMI sampling program. With the potential for high-grade gold mineralization in the Taraira Gold Belt and the similarities to the Witwatersrand belt in South Africa, Cosigo’s discovery has the potential to be the biggest gold discovery in South America. Trading at $0.05, getting in at the ground floor could potentially yield a minimum of 10x returns and potentially much more. Investors, geologists, traders, and financiers alike have an opportunity to participate in this potentially world-class gold discovery within a multi-year bull market for the gold sector.
